Palestine 36 In Context

This course explores the roots of Palestinian revolutionary struggle. We will focus on the significance of the 1936–39 Palestinian Revolution, a key moment in Palestinian resistance, brought to new audiences through Annemarie Jacir’s film. Over four sessions, we will engage with how this history has been remembered, retold, and reclaimed over generations—and what it demands of those of us committed to liberation today.
