Joud was born in the diaspora with family roots in Al-Lydd, Palestine. She carries a long history of displacement that fuels her commitment to a free Palestine. Joud manages websites and newsletters for various local organizations and mosques, using digital tools to support community connection, education, and mobilization.

She believes that as Palestinians in the West, we each have a role to play in shaping our own narrative, building safe spaces for our communities, and ensuring we are seen, heard, and represented on our own terms.
