3rd Annual From Turtle Island to Palestine Film Festival


Nov 28th & 29th 2025 - "Resistance from Turtle Island to Palestine"

The 3rd Annual From Turtle Island to Palestine Film Festival is organized by SOC 3390 students at King's University College with community, including the Canada Palestine Social Association, Embassy Cultural House, Independent Jewish Voices, People for Peace London, Antler River Media Co-op, and The CARE Collective.

On Nov 28th 6-9:30pm & Nov. 29th 1-9:30pm, we are honouring "Resistance from Turtle Island to Palestine." Rooted in love, Indigenous resistance respects the struggles and dreams of our Ancestors and creates futures in which future generations will live free and thrive.

Elder Mary Lou Smoke will Open the Film Festival on Friday evening.

At the Film Festival, we will welcome donations and distribute them equally among: Nimkii Binesi Zaswaaning, Gila, and the Omar Barzak Scholarship Fund.

Free parking is located in P1 in front of Wemple Hall at 266 Epworth Ave. Behind the Student Life Centre, there is paid Honk parking. If you have an Accessible Parking Permit issued by ServiceOntario and require accessible parking in the Student Life Centre lot, please email jnotwell@uwo.ca.
